Since the Costa del Sol has became an international touristy destination, it has grown currently to offer sun and beach, its main characteristics. The geographical characteristics of the coast of Malaga were and are ideal. It has 160 km of coast where there are different types of  beaches.

Neither its extension or its diversity are enough to still attract  visitors for years. There is a third principal reason joined to the previous ones explaining why the Costa del Sol has the supremacy upon others touristy areas: the weather of Malaga, which is good. Furthermore its coast is protected against the winds thanks to its mountains. This system of mountains favours warm temperatures in winter and soft temperatures in summer.
