Rincón de la Victoria promises a memorable fair for all tastes and ages

The three coastal centres of Rincón de la Victoria will remain even more united than ever because of the Sea Fair and Festivities in Puerta de la Axarquía, which this year is celebrated from 13^th to the 16^th of July. There will be taking place the election of the queen of the fair, as well as the performance of “El Koala”, on Saturday the 8^th, and people will dance to the rhythm of the pasodoble with the town band one day later.

This year’s festival’s novelty will be the disappearance of a fair precinct, favouring the translation to the central zone, where we will be able to enjoy numberless activities daily. There will be dancing and singing and food will be offered for free for residents and visitors.

Eduardo Banderas will moderate the festival, Jesús Rodríguez ‘El Koala’ will be elected ‘Marengo of the year’ and the bull-fans will also see bullfights with Manuel Benítez ‘El Cordobés’, Francisco Rivera Ordónez and Ricardo Ortiz. The processions of the virgin Carmen in Rincón and the Cala del Moral and the pyrotechnical shows present the finale.

Before that we will have enjoyed a first-class programme of concerts. For the dedicated Flamenco fans the troupe of Manuela Carrasco, Raquel Framit, Bonela and paintings of Jerez and Triana will be shown in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. On the beach will be Carlos Baute, Chenoa and El Arrebato, while María Figueroa will animate the little ones.
